Outside my house, Saturday evening about midnight.
(Just wondering – did any readers risk life and limb to make it to uncanceled performances of Mamma Mia! or Xanadu or other theater this weekend? If so, please share your story with us.)

We ventured out from Durham to go see Xanadu on Saturday night. We took it easy on the roads, and it took a little more than an hour to get to Raleigh. I40 was still covered in packed snow and ice, though. We got to the show, and they let the handful of people that made it (maybe 50?) all sit up front. So our $30 balcony seats ended up getting us 5th row! The show was great: funny and great music/singing.
Sounds fun. Do you know what they did about refunds for people who couldn’t make it Saturday or Sunday?
I went to see Xanadu on Friday. We left Durham just as it was starting to snow and saw a car crash almost immediately! We got there fine, but getting back home was slow going. I heard from some of the Xanadu cast that most of the shows this weekend were VERY small… Maybe 50 people or so. There were only a few hundred on Friday night. Mamma Mia did cancel their matinee on Saturday, but performed the other scheduled shows. PlayMakers had to cancel their opening of All My Sons on Saturday, but Sunday went on as planned.
