Tomorrow is the big day.

Hundreds and hundreds of folks are expected for Google Day at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park this Thursday March 18, to promote Durham as the location for Google’s high-speed fiber-optic network project.

To participate, just dig out a shirt to wear in one of the Google colors (red, blue, green, yellow, or black) and show up at the DBAP starting at 11:00 a.m. Crews will organize everyone to spell out “We Want Google” on the field, for aerial photos and news chopper video at noon. Food vendors will be on site if you get hungry, and the weather looks to be perfect.

Find out more about the event and why Durham’s so excited about it over at Bull City Rising.

Vote for Durham.
