Durham’s Third Friday art walk returns tonight with the usual eclectic mix of things to see and hear, scattered around downtown and outlying areas.
• “Let’s Go to France!” – Durham’s Central Park goes Gallic, as Durham Cinemateque presents a bunch of short films about la belle France: educational, obscure, oddball — even a soupçon of Marcel Duchamp! Save your euros, it’s free, starting at 9 p.m.
• Meanwhile, over on East Main Street, Golden Belt hosts an exhibition featuring the winners of the 2010 American Institute of Architects’ Triangle Design Awards.
And lots more — including paintings, photography, concerts, and dance-theater. Find the full lineup at Third Friday.
