A Young Person’s Guide to Theater: Plays vs. Musicals

Musicals are different than plays. In plays it is just people talking.

Earlier this year, kids from Dorothy and Mark’s class at Durham’s Central Park School — who were in rehearsals for a school production of The Wizard of Oz — got a guided tour of Manbites Dog Theater led by Associate Artistic Director Jay O’Berski. Here’s what they learned.
