Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead – The kids from Peanuts make some bad choices as they grow up, in this unauthorized parody. Ruthless! The Musical – An eight-year-old showbiz overachiever resorts to murder to win the starring role in her school musical. This week: Thursday-Saturday 8:00, Sunday 3:00. Continues through August 28. Raleigh Little Theatre, Raleigh.
The Serpent’s Egg – Paperhand Puppet Intervention returns with its 12th annual outdoor giant puppet extravaganza. This week: Friday-Sunday 7:00 (with a 6:20 preshow). Continues through September 5 at Forest Theater, UNC Campus, Chapel Hill.
