Radio Golf – A mayoral candidate finds himself caught between the demands of power and the voice of conscience. Deep Dish presents August Wilson’s 2005 drama, directed by Kathryn Hunter-Williams. This week: Wednesday and Thursday 7:30, Friday and Saturday 8:00, Sunday at 2:00. Continues through September 15. Deep Dish Theatre, University Mall, Chapel Hill.

City of Frogs – Triangle treasure Paperhand Puppet Intervention presents its 13th annual outdoor giant puppet pageant. This week: Friday through Sunday 7:00 (6:20 preshow). Continues through September 9 at Forest Theatre, UNC Campus, Chapel Hill. (Continues September 14-16 at NC Museum of Art, Raleigh.)

Hufflepuffed – Comedic Harry Potter fan-fic sketches, co-produced by Mon Frere and Burning Coal’s Second Stage series. (Not intended for kids.) This week: Thursday-Saturday 7:30 (or maybe 8:00 — their website is unsure), Sunday 2:00. Closes Sunday. Murphey School, Raleigh.

The Rocky Horror Show – If you’re half the fan you think you are, you’ve been antici————pating this all summer. Raleigh Little Theatre presents the 1973 musical, directed by Haskell Fitz-Simons. This week: Thursday 8:00, Friday 8:00 and midnight, Saturday 8:00, Sunday 3:00. Continues through September 2. RLT, Raleigh.

No Shame Theatre – Monthly open performance venue for original, short form theater. Saturday 10:00 p.m. (Sign-up to perform: 9:00). The ArtsCenter, Carrboro.

The Relationship Play – It’s another improv show about — wait for it — relationships. Pablo’s All-Star Players present four scenes linked by musical interludes. This week only: Friday and Saturday 8:00. Common Ground Theatre, Durham.

Sketch Cagematch – Weekly presentation of comic Darwinism in action: two sketch teams go head to head with 22 minutes of their best material. The team with the funniest survival strategy comes back next week, the unfunniest goes home in shame. Saturday 9:00. Dirty South Theater, Carr Mill Mall, Carrboro.
