Free event, 7:00 p.m. Monday evening February 4 at Manbites Dog
Master storyteller/monologist Mike Daisey will appear at Manbites Dog for a public conversation on liberty, the Occupy Movement, and his play American Utopias which just concluded a week-long run in Durham.
Daisey will be joined by Duke Law professor Jedediah Purdy who has been studying the Occupy Movement and the basic questions that it raises. The evening will be moderated by Duncan Murrell, writer-in-residence at Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies and one of the founders of Professor Diablo’s True Revue, a bi-monthly evening of documentary collaboration and performance.
This event is free and open to the public – no reservations needed. Doors will open by 6:30, event begins at 7:00. Location: Manbites Dog Theater, 703 Foster Street in Durham.
