The Beautiful Beast – It’s the end of summer which means it’s time for Paperhand Puppet Intervention’s annual outdoor extravaganza. This year’s show takes a look at the monsters and beasts that inhabit our dreams and folktales. This week: Friday-Sunday 7:00 (pre-show starts at 6:20). NC Museum of Art in Raleigh. Maccountant – “What need we fear who knows it, when none can call our power to account?” Office politics get literally cutthroat in a Wichita accounting office circa 1963. Expect Jaybird O’Berski’s adaptation of Macbeth to be full of sound and fury – as well as chainsaws, hammers, and assorted potentially lethal office supplies. Presented by Little Green Pig.
