Hunchback – What is ugly? What is beautiful? This original musical entertainment addresses those aesthetic questions via a fictional Swedish pop band impersonating 19th century aristocrats impersonating 21st century hipsters. (Why yes, it’s a Little Green Pig production – how did you know?) Directed by Jaybird O’Berski with assistant director Tamara Kissane, and despite the venue, it’s probably not for children. This week: Thursday-Saturday 8:00. Continues through May 20. Walltown Children’s Theater, 1225 Berkeley Street, Durham.

Presented by Sonorous Road. Directed by Egla Birmingham Hassan. This week: Friday and Saturday 8:00, Sunday 3:00. Continues through May 28. Sonorous Road Theatre, 209 Oberlin Road, Raleigh.
